My Sunforgettable® brush is not working.Updated 5 months ago

We're sorry to hear your brush is not dispensing for you. To ensure your brush fully activated and dispensing properly please follow these simple activation steps.

How to activate your Sunforgettable® brush:

1. Open the brush cap and remove the rubber band from around the bristles.

2. Pull the sleeve back up over the brush bristles and put the cap back on the brush.

3. With the cap-side down (brush sitting vertical with bristles facing down), tap firmly on a hard surface, such as a tabletop 6-8 times. You will want to use quite a bit of force when banging your brush on the tabletop (enough force to help release some of the air pressure in the brush's filter so we do recommend that you bang the brush pretty hard).

4. Remove the brush cap, slide back the sleeve and run your finger through the brush bristles so they bend and flick upwards.

You should see a “poof” of powder. Once you see this "poof" that is how you will know that the brush is fully activated.

If you did not see this "poof" of powder, then try repeating these steps 1-4. Hit the brush 6-8 more times on a table. Please note that the hard force is really key in activating the brush as it allows for the powder to push through the filter.

The brush is gravity fed so; you may need to reload the powder in the brush to make sure you are getting enough for your entire face. The powder does apply transparent when it is a good color match.

Additionally, with consistent use, the Sunforgettable® brush may become clogged over time due to the buildup of oils or product on the bristles from your skin. We highly recommend cleaning your brush at least once a week to maintain freshness.

How to clean your Sunforgettable® brush:

1. Use rubbing alcohol or an alcohol-based brush cleaner.

2. Pour an ample amount of cleaner on a paper towel and wipe through the bristles until clean.

3. Let the brush face upward then set it on its side to dry. We recommend leaving to dry overnight before putting the cap back on.
